BADIN, Oct 30: Badin District Nazim Ali Anwar Halepoto during surprise visit to the police lock-up in Tando Bago found two people detained there illegally since October 26. There was no entry in the Roznamcha after their presence in the lock-up.
Both detainees Khalid Hussain and Rasool Bux were later released.
The nazim reprimanded police for taking law in their hands. He made remarks in Roznamcha and the FIR book against the police action and ordered suspension of the in charge of the police investigation team and ordered an inquiry through the DPO.
