He said that the rulers did not care for the welfare of the 150 million people of the country, and added that a present only the nationalist forces were struggling to get rid of the dictatorship.

He said at the international level, President Musharraf has proclaimed himself as the bitterest enemy of terrorism but within the country, he was patronising a terrorist group.

Mr Magsi said he was prepared to sacrifice his life to change the destiny of Sindh.
He said Islamabad was trying to enslave the Sindhi people but they would prefer to fight than to become a slave nation.
A large number of Sindh Qaumi Ittehad leaders and workers attended the Iftar party.
BOOK LAUNCHED: The chief of Awami Tehrik, Rasool Bux Palijo, has stressed the need of logic and argument in politics and said that the people must learn to discuss all subjects in a logical and scientific manner.
He was speaking at the book launching ceremony of a rising writer and intellectual, Jami Chandio, at the local press club on Wednesday evening.

He said Jami Chandio’s book was aimed in that direction.
He said, it was imperative to develop a habit of maintaining an accurate record of times and events. He said after the inception of Pakistan, the promises held out by the father of the nation, Quaid-i-Azam, in the 1940 resolution and his subsequent speeches, guaranteeing provincial autonomy and sovereignty, had been totally forgotten by the successive rulers.
Palijo pointed out during the regime of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in Punjab, a secret covenant had been signed with imperialism and added that the same covenant was being practiced even today.
Noted scholar and intellectual, Mohammad Ibrahim Joyo, who was the chief guest on the occasion, in his speech said that right from the inception of Pakistan, it has remained in crisis.
