By Our Correspondent

RAHIM YAR KHAN, Oct 14: Punjab special secretary education Zahid Saeed has cancelled orders of the district nazim regarding transfer of DO (secondary education) Mushtaq Ahmed Tahir, asking him to continue performing his duties.

Saying that the nazim has no powers to transfer the district officer, the secretary asked EDO (education) Chaudhry Sanaullah to ensure implementation of his orders of

Sept 29.

Some higher officers, including Mr Tahir, were transferred and posted on Sept 29.

Later, district nazim

Sardar Rafiq Haider Khan Leghari sent Mushtaq Tahir to Tameer-i-Millat secondary school.

The secretary has asked the EDO (education) to tell the district nazim not to interfere in education department affairs.
