GUJRANWALA, Oct 5: Two orphan sisters committed suicide when their poor mother failed to arrange new books for them in Ladhaywala Warraich here on Thursday.
Reports said that Shama (17) and Gulnar (15), both students of ninth class in Public City School, were upset for their incapacity to buy new books. They took poisonous pills when their mother could not meet their innocent demand. They were hastened to the local DHQ Hospital where they died.
