Usman, Hasan shine for Zone-IV Whites


KARACHI, July 15: Zone-IV Whites and Zone-V Whites chalked out their second victories in the KCCA Inter-zonal Under-15 cricket tournament on Friday.

Spinners Khan Usmanullah and Hasan Khalid shared eight wickets between them as Zone-IV Whites thrashed Zone-I Blues by 188 runs at KCCA Stadium.

Adnan Ahmed hit an unbeaten 52 for winners.

At Landhi Gymkhana Ground, Zone-V Whites beat Zone-III Blues by 75 runs.

In the other match at Asifabad Ground, Zone-VII Whites routed Zone-II Blues by 107 runs with spinners Babar Saeed (5-33) and Hasan Anis (4-17) doing the damage.

Zone-IV Whites beat Zone-I Blues by 188 runs.

ZONE-IV WHITES 193 in 49.4 overs (Adnan Ahmed 52 not out, Sumair Younus 30; Arsalan Hussain 4-52, Asad Ali 3-26);

ZONE-I BLUES 75 in 30.1 overs (Imran Hussain 27; Khan Usmanullah 4-13, Hasan Khalid 4-35).

Zone-V Whites beat Zone-III Blues by 75 runs.

ZONE-V WHITES 202-9 in 50 overs (Shahrukh Pervez 47, Faizan Khan 44, Mohammad Shahbaz 30; Ameet Rizvi 2-42);

ZONE-III BLUES 123 in 38 overs (Adeel Shah 28, Tanvirul Haq 24; Ehsan Ali 3-10, Danish Saleem 2-28).

Zone-VII Whites beat Zone-II Blues by 107 run.

ZONE-VII WHITES 208 in 47.4 overs (Sakhi Yousuf 26, Ahsan Mizra 25, Jahangir Khan 23; Fawwad Ali 3-60, Hasan Sharif 2-9);
