HYDERABAD, July 3: The Dialdas Club has been handed over by the district government to its elected governing body on Sunday night after six months to run the club’s administration which remained under administrative control of the caretaker of the district government.

However, on Monday evening a heavy contingent of police was deployed outside club to prevent holding of a birthday anniversary in club’s premises all.

Cantonment police have put up barbed wires on main Miran Mohammad Shah road at old campus point and outside the club, cordoning it from the two sides which resulted in to worst kind of traffic jams on all connecting roads.

Talking to Dawn, the president of the club, Haji Nisar Memon, confirmed that club’s management was handed over to it’s governing body and they could now operate club’s accounts.

He admitted that an agreement had been signed by governing body with caterer to raise income of club for meeting its expenses.

He said that there was no other source of income of the club and added that caterer pays Rs100,000 monthly.
