KARACHI: Sports complex project

KARACHI, June 28: Sindh Chief Secretary Fazlur Rehman on Wednesday exhorted the departments concerned to initiate steps as per approved line of action adopted at the highest level for effective implementation of sports complex project.

He was addressing a meeting of sports complex committee held at his office. Among others, the meeting was especially attended by Sindh Sports Minister Qamar Mansoor.

The meeting had a detailed consideration of various features of the project while Additional Chief Secretary Ghulam Sarwar Khehro highlighted technical aspects and Secretary Culture Mehtab Akbar Rashdi explained the broad outlines.

In view of consultation with the sports minister on the occasion, it was decided that a meeting of all committee members, KBCA and officials of Board of Revenue would be held in July.

Secretary Works and Services Faisal Saud, Secretary Local Government Ishaq Lashari, and DCO Karachi Fazlur Rehman were present.—APP
