KARACHI: Probe urged into CPSP paper scam

KARACHI, June 28: The Pakistan Islamic Medical Association on Wednesday demanded the government to constitute a high-level judicial commission comprising senior judges and senior doctors to probe into an alleged leakage of an examination paper of the College of Physicians and Surgeons.

A spokesman for PIMA, in a statement, said that some candidates appearing in the exams had alleged that a question paper of the CPSP exams had been leaked. This was also widely reported by the local print and electronic media, he said, adding that the issue was a matter of great concern.

He demanded the government to immediately take notice of the sensitive issue, constitute a commission comprising jurors and senior doctors to probe into the issue, and hand over the CPSP to renowned and qualified medical professionals.—PPI
