Man attempts suicide, body found

ISLAMABAD, June 3: The body of an unidentified man was found while in an attempted suicide a man shot himself injured here, police said.

In the first incident the Margallah police found a dead body of an unidentified man said to be in his 60s. Some passers by informed police that the body was laying at the green area near Sarya Ckowk, Sector G-8/1.

Police seized the body and shifted it to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for legal process and pending identification.

No marks of injury was found on the body, however, the actual cause of death would be ascertained after an autopsy, police said.

In the second incident, Malik Yasir, 24, attempted suicide by shooting himself with a 30-bore pistol in his house at Sector I-10/4.

Mr Yasir had a tailoring shop in Saudi Arabia. He came to Pakistan to visit his family two months ago and was reluctant to go back. When his family forced him to go back to Saudi Arabia, there was a quarrel. Mr Yasir went to a room and shot himself.
