LAHORE, May 25: Former Olympian, Khawaja Zakauddin on Thursday resigned from the Advisory Board of Pakistan Hockey Federation.
“I have sent my resignation to president, PHF, as the board was not useful for the revival and development of the game,” he said.
Zaka, a former manager, selector and coach of the national team said he attended a few meetings of the board but nothing was done to address problems pertaining to the promotion of the game.
He said he wishes good luck to the Pakistan hockey team for its future assignment. Zaka was inducted as a member last year in the 12-member board.—APP
