DERA GHAZI KHAN, May 21: A man cut lips and nose of his wife in the limits of the Saddar police late Saturday night. Eesa of Chah Pipalwala also tried to cut arms of his 19-year-old wife, Aashan Bibi, after cutting her lips and nose. The injured was taken to the local DHQ Hospital.
The police claimed to have arrested Eesa, his father and brother Akbar.
KIDNAPPED: Some unidentified people kidnapped nine people who were going to Jampur, Rajanpur tehsil, from Jatoi, Muzaffargarh tehsil, by a boat through the Indus on Sunday.
Reports reaching here through the police say the accused kidnapped only men and allowed women and children to go. However, the DIG claims that it is not a kidnap case, but only a dacoity.
