KARACHI, May 18: The Ulema and Zakireen on Thursday under the banner of Jafferia Alliance staged a protest demonstration against on-going raids and arrest of their youth without any warrants.

Speaking on this occasion, chief of the alliance, Senator Allama Abbas Kumaili and Maulana Aun Naqvi, warned that if the government and the administration did not stop carrying raids without search and arrest warrants and if it failed to release their youths arrested so far, they would announce a countrywide protest.

They also announced that they would hold demonstrations on Friday throughout Sindh while the central protest meeting would be held after Juma prayers at Khoja Asna Asheri Jamia Mosque, Kharadar.
