ISLAMABAD, May 16: A century by Umair Khan propelled Punjab Club to a 134-run victory against CDA that put them in the final of the ICA Margalla Festival cricket tournament on Tuesday. Umair struck 125 off 115 balls with 11 fours and two sixes that helped Punjab score 285-9 in 47 overs.

Shahid Mahmood restricted Punjab with 4-48 while Umair claimed 2-31.

CDA in reply were bundled out for 151, Atif Amin Butt inflicting the major damage by snapping up four for 45.

Umer Khan shone with the bat scoring 64 but his runs went in vain.

The second semifinal of the tournament between Diamond and XI Star is still to be played.
