PM leaves on four-nation visit

ISLAMABAD, May 14: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz left here on Sunday on his visit to Greece, Libya and Morocco. He will be also representing Pakistan at the World Economic Forum on the Middle East in Egypt.

Talking to newsmen before his departure at Chaklala Air Base, Mr Aziz said his visit will strengthen bilateral relations and promote trade, economic, political and cultural relations with these countries.

He said during his visit he would also explain Pakistan’s point of view on various regional and international issues, particularly highlighting the Kashmir issue.

He said a number of agreements to promote bilateral trade and economic relations would also be signed during his visit to Greece, Morocco and Libya.

Mr Aziz said he would also explain economic policies of Pakistan and highlight the conducive investment available due to liberal economic policies of the government.

This will be the first official visit of a government head from Pakistan to Greece.—APP
