Boy dies of gastro

GUJRANWALA, May 14: A boy died on Sunday due to gastrointritis while many other patients suffering from the ailment have been admitted to city hospitals during the last few days.

Reports said Abdul Nasir, son of Abdul Sattar, a resident of Mehar Lal Hussain locality, was rushed to the local DHQ hospital with gastro complaint, where he died.

Keeping in view the rising gastro incidence in the city, DOH Dr Riasat Ali Nahra has constituted several medical teams to help the people in the affected areas.

He said there was a shortage of required medicines at the hospital.
