MUMBAI, May 13: Two stunning eagles lifted South African Hendrik Burhmann to the top of the leaderboard on Saturday and a course-record equalling seven-under-par 65 going into the final round of the Aamby Valley Asian Masters.

The veteran Burhmann shares the lead with Simon Hurd from England who carded a three-under-par 69 and India's Ashok Kumar who stumbled to one-over-par 73 at the Asian Tour event at the magnificent Aamby Valley Golf Club.

The trio lead on 10-under-par 206 after three rounds, one shot clear of England's Simon Griffiths who fired an impressive 67 and has returned to the game after a three-year hiatus.

Australian rookie Kane Webber was alone two strokes further back after shooting a six-under-par 66.

CASEY ON DOUBLE COURSE

SUTTON COLDFIELD (England): Britain's Paul Casey is on track for a Belfry double after taking a three-shot lead in the British Masters second round on Friday.

Casey was the last European Tour winner at the Belfry, in the 2003 Benson and Hedges International, and he is again showing his liking for the Brabazon course.

The 28-year-old Englishman has produced two blemish-free cards this week, his six-under 66 on Friday earning an 11-under aggregate of 133.

Casey compiled six birdies to move three ahead of fellow Briton Darren Clarke, the joint first-round leader.

SCOTT STILL IN LEAD

IRVING (Texas): Australia's Adam Scott held on to a share of the lead after a day of record scoring highlighted by American Arron Oberholser's brilliant 60 at the Byron Nelson Championship on Friday.

In calm conditions, the 25-year-old from Adelaide fired a flawless five-under-par 65 at the Cottonwood Valley Course, ending the second round at 10-under 130.

Level with Scott was American Brett Wetterich, who shot a seven-birdie two days. The TPC layout will host the last two rounds.64 on the TPC at Las Colinas, the other course being used for the first

Three strokes adrift in a tie for third was American Joe Ogilvie, who charged into contention with a sparkling 62 at Cottonwood Valley.

In red-hot form with his putter, Ogilvie covered the back nine in a blistering seven-under 28 to finish level with playing partner Omar Uresti, who returned a 66.
