By Our Sports Reporter

ISLAMABAD, May 4: Adam Khan, Pakistan's first professional Grand Prix motor race driver hopes to break into the world's best if he got the required encouragement.

"Every race driver needs a big push that comes through association with leading car manufacturers and once you get that you enhance your chances of joining the best," Adam, 20 told a news conference on Thursday.

Eddy Jordan, personally endorsed Adams at the age of 17 as having the race skills and commitment necessary to become an F-1 driver.

Now as part of Pakistan Image Project, Adams will act as Pakistan's ambassador in the fast world of motor racing.

Adams started racing at the age of 16 at Silverstone in United Kingdom and within five hours of his first driving lesson made history by winning a podium position and took the chequered flag.
