13 teachers suspended

DADU, May 3: An assistant district officer (ADO) on Wednesday suspended 13 primary schoolteachers of Sehwan taluka for being absent from duty.

ADO education (male) Sehwan Anwaruddin Odhano paid surprise visits to primary schools for boys in Ibrahim Machhi, Mohammad Soomro, Shaikh, Solangiabad, Hashim Bughio, Hussain Leghari,

Rind and Mohammad Gachal villages and found 13 teachers absent.

He has ordered the suspended teachers to report to the executive district officer education Jamshoro.

PROTEST: Journalists in Dadu district took out a procession here on Wednesday to mark the International Press Freedom Day.

Saeed Sindhi, Nizam Shaikh, Akram Memon, Abdul Sattar Mallah, Gul Sehwani, Wali Mohammad led the protest demanding freedom of the Press.

BOYCOTT OF OPD: Paramedics of the civil hospital and other public hospitals boycotted out patient departments (OPD) here on Wednesday.

They also staged a demonstration in front of the civil hospital, on a call of the Pakistan Paramedical Staff Federation, Sindh. They were demanding service structure.

Federation leaders of Sindh chapter, Raja Rafiq Panhwar, Mohammad Aachar Panhwar, Abdul Ghafoor Gurmani and Abdul Rasool Hingoro led the protesters.
