GHALLANAI, April 28: Three men were killed in a clash between two rival groups in Kandahari village of Lakaro tehsil, about 50km from Mohmand Agency headquarters, on Friday.

According to witnesses, the clash took place when Sherzada and his friend Madar Khan were attacked by their rivals.

As a result, Sherzada and Madar Khan, and Gul Khan from the group of Hussain Khan were killed on the spot. Hussain Khan and Sherzada’s father Mian Khan have been feuding for a long time.

PYLONS DESTROYED: Six pylons of the electricity supply line were destroyed by saboteurs on Thursday night, disrupting power supply to the Yakka Ghund area of Mohmand Agency.

Tesco Assistant Manager Jamshed Ali told journalists that the company had made alternative arrangements to supply electricity to the affected areas from Mechanai.
