KARACHI, April 26: Six vessels including a rice loader are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where half a dozen ships including APL Pusan, PAC Antlia, MOL Silver Fern, Orient Independence, to unload and load containers, Andino Park to offload oil and Fu Wen Shan to unload and load general cargo were berthed.

Three ships, Ever Guard, Yang Jiang He and Olypmic-1 departed on Wednesday, while APL Pusan, PAC Antlia, Mar Calabria, Mirna, Hyundai Advance, Kota Waruna, Eleana and Parsian are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was relatively slow owing to lesser handling of liquid tonnage totalling 58,347 tons, which also included 19,937 tons of export cargo and 38,410 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Dubai Gold to load 15,000 tons of rice, Shalamar, with crude oil, L.Calvin P.Titus, to unload and load containers, Dong Hua Men, Bao Fu Men and Iron Butterfly, with project cargo.
