KARACHI: Pakistan, Iran friendship guarantees peace: Niamat

KARACHI, April 25: Former city nazim Niamatullah Khan has said that Iran and Pakistan’s friendship is a guarantee to durable peace in the region.

Talking to Irani Consul-General Aqai Musi Hussaini, he said that Iran and Pakistan enjoyed brotherly relations and they could play a role in economic and social progress by mutual cooperation.

Both Irani diplomat and the former nazim agreed that in order to save the world from double standards, real stature of the United Nations should be restored so that the UN could be free in dispensing justice on equal footings without any pressure.

Mr Niamatullah recalled the dedicated services of President Ahmadzada Nejadi from Mayor of Tehran to President of Iran. The efforts and struggle of Iranian leadership for progress and prosperity of Iran during the last decade had strengthened determination and courage of the nation.

Irani Counsul-General appreciated the services rendered by Niamatullah Khan as the city nazim and he had an unforgettable role in the development and progress of Karachi.
