KARACHI: Two killed in road accidents

KARACHI, April 25: Two persons died in separate road accidents in different parts of the city whereas a bus was set on fire on Sharea Faisal by enraged people for its involvement in an accident.

A young boy was seriously injured when he was hit by a speeding bus of UTS near the Star Gate on Sharea Faisal. After the accident enraged people of the area set the bus (JB-2417) on fire. The wounded boy was rushed to the JPMC for treatment where he was stated to be in a serious condition.

In another accident, an elderly man died when a coach crushed him at Khator Mor on Super Highway. Police said the 65 year old man was reportedly crossing the highway when the speeding coach knocked him down and sped away. Police sent the body to the hospital for legal formalities.
