KARACHI: Encroachment on amenity plot removed

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, April 19: A 30-year-old encroachment on an amenity plot in Malir’s UC-2 at Baraf Khana along Begum Khursheed Road in front of B-Area Imambargah has been removed, paving way for the construction of an ambulance service centre on the plot.

The 2,000sq-yd plot was encroached upon by a block-making unit and cattle-pen owners, which had been resulting in unhygienic conditions.

The action was supervised by the town nazim Ansar Ahmed Sheikh. After the removal of encroachments, the town nazim said that the town administration planned to convert it into an ambulance and coffin-carrier service centre, to be run by the Malir Town.
