KARACHI, April 17: An impressive passing-out parade was arranged on completion of aero-technician course here at Pakistan Air Force, Korangi Creek Base, on Monday.

Air Vice-Marshal Khalid Masood Rajput was the chief guest on the occasion, a statement of PAF said here.

A total of 755 Jawans passed out, which included 677 of PAF, 58 of Pakistan Navy while 20 from other countries including Bangladesh, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Palestine.

Addressing the ceremony, AVM Khalid Masood urged the personnel, who just completed the training, to devote themselves to the field of technology and get a complete command over it. He reminded them of their pledge which they made to follow the footsteps of their predecessors who, with their tireless efforts in the past, contributed significantly towards earning respect for the country.

He congratulated the aero-technicians on completion of the training .

Air Vice Marshal Khalid Masood Rajput lauded the continued role of the School of Aeronautics and the School of Electronics towards fulfilment of technical requirements of PAF for the last five years.

Later, the chief guest honoured the School of Electronics with the Chief of the Air Staff Banner on showing outstanding performance in sports. He also presented Chief of the Air Staff Trophies to the runners up.

Trophies of Aero-space and Avionics were presented to ALT Faisal Iqbal and ALT Hamid Hussain respectively on their excellent performance in their respective fields.—APP
