KARACHI, April 13: Secretary-General of National Workers Party Yusuf Mustikhan has condemned the killing of religious leaders and termed it a heinous crime.

The NWP leader said the Nishtar Park incident indicated that there was no writ of the government.

The NWP leader held the military regime was responsible for introducing politics of guns in the country’s politics.

He alleged that the general regarded guns as only way of solution of problems, saying Baloch leaders were being threatened and abusive language used to intimidate them.

He said the government had cordoned off houses of Sardar Akhtar Mengal and his brother Javed Mengal. Earlier, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti had been forced to take refugee to mountains.
