KARACHI: HSC suppl results

KARACHI, April 13: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, on Thursday declared the results of HSC Pre-engineering and Science General part-II, supplementary exams 2005.

As many as 7,096 candidates, including 1,699 women, appeared in the pre-engineering group exams, out of which 3,061, including 551 women, were declared successful. The pass percentage remained at 43.14.

In the Science General group there were 955 candidates, including 286 women, who appeared in the exams, while 381, including 75 women, were declared pass. The pass percentage of candidates in the group remained at 39.90.

The breakdown of successful candidates of the two groups remained as follows: pre-engineering; A grade 1 male and 1 woman; B grade 26 males and 7 women; C grade 371 males and 154 women; D grade 1,865 males and 384 women; E grade 244 males and 2 women and Pass 3 males and 3 women.

Science General; A grade 1 male only; B grade 2 males and 4 women; C grade 72 males and 49 women; D grade 205 males and 22 women and E grade 26 males only.
