KARACHI, April 13: Four ships, including Parsian carrying 18,000 tons of sugar, are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where eight ships were berthed to unload and load containers and offload vehicles. They are: Asdrubal, to unload oil, Hyundai Sprinter, Loanthi, to unload coal, Calypso-N, to unload and load general cargo, Ducky Symphony, to offload vehicles, Orient Independence, Y.M. Fortune and Iran Kordestan, to unload and load containers.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.106m tons comprising 27,405 tons of export cargo and 78,003 tons of import tonnage, including 1,930 tons of sugar, was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Parsian, with 18,000 tons of sugar, Orient Bouquet, Jo Selje, to load 2,500 and 4,000 tons of ethanol, respectively, and Maersk Albma, to unload and load containers.
