LAHORE, April 12: Fine batting by lower-order batsmen Mohammad Hasnain and Rajesh Ramesh helped Karachi Harbour stage a good recovery to reach 326 in their first innings against Sialkot in the Pentangular Cup match at the Qadhafi Stadium on Wednesday.

Ramesh scored a 94-ball 73 while Hasnain hit 72 off 103 deliveries after Karachi Harbour slumped to 97 for five on the opening day of the four-day fixture.

The pair added 107 for the eighth wicket with Ramesh striking 12 fours and Hasanain 13.

Pacemen Kashif Dawood (5-80) and Asim Butt (4-48) shared the bowling honours.

By close of play, Sialkot were 43-2.
