KARACHI: Career planning seminar

KARACHI, April 10: Speakers at a seminar at the University of Karachi highlighted the importance of career planning and suggested that students should be helped by their parents and teachers in choosing a career.

The seminar on career planning was organized by the Human Resources Society of the university at the Arts Auditorium on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, a former KU vice-chancellor Dr Abdul Wahab said that career planning was a long-term decision and standard of living of the people also affected the occupations the students choose for themselves.

IBA Director, Danishmand, said a career was important for the girls as well.

Col Muzaffarul Hassan of IBA, said students should have confidence in themselves.
