Hasilpur gas project launched

BAHAWALPUR, April 9: A Sui gas supply project costing over Rs3.71 billion to 14 tehsils of four districts of south Punjab was launched at Hasilpur on Sunday. Launching the project at a public meeting held at the highway rest house in Hasilpur, MNA Mian Riaz Hussain Peerzada assured the uplift of his constituency.

The MNA extended his thanks to the president, the prime minister and the Punjab governor for giving approval to the gigantic project.

He said the project would help create employment opportunities and better prospects for the development in Hasilpur and other parts of his constituency.

He said the federal and Punjab governments had contributed a sum of Rs1,333 million each while the SNGPL had its share of Rs1.51 million in this mega project.
