KARACHI: SSC exam from 18th

KARACHI, April 9: About 144,000 candidates are likely to take SSC (Part-II) Class X annual examination, commencing on April 18, said the controller of Board of Secondary Education, Karachi, Mohammad Salim Khan, on Sunday.

He said as many as 141,645 candidates, including 70,000 girls had been registered for SSC Science group (Regular) and General group (Regular and Private) annual examination of Class X, while another 3000 candidates are expected to submit forms on as the board would announce a special date for submission of examination forms.

He said that a total of 400 examination centres, including 174 for girl candidates, had been planned in the two shifts at various government and private schools, while a centre will also be set up at the Karachi Central Jail.
