KARACHI, April 7: Nazimaad Gymkhana sailed into the quarterfinals of KCCA Inter-club cricket championship by defeating Rafiq Sherazi Memorial CC (RSMCC) by six wickets at Mansoora Ground on Thursday.

Abdul Saad hit seven fours in his 74 and S.A. Faheem struck five boundaries in his 56 as Nazimabad Gymkhana posted 268 for three.

RSMCC in reply were restricted to 251 for seven in their 40 overs. Iqbal Butt slammed nine boundaries in his 82 and Waseem Naeem got 58 with the aid of six hits to the ropes but failed to save their team from defeat.

In another match, a brilliant undefeated 99 by Khurram Abbas paved the way for Karachi Eaglets to a thumping six wickets victory over Comrade Sports.
