KARACHI: Katchi abadis cell closed


KARACHI, April 6: The Industrial and Katchi Abadis Cell in the Karachi Building Control Authority (KBCA) has been wound up as a step to further improve the performance of the department in question, and powers vested in this regard have been transferred to the town level.

The officials and staff working in these cells have also been transferred to various towns and other departments.

Those transferred include a deputy controller, seven assistant controllers, one senior planning assistant, three senior building inspectors, five building inspectors, three assistants, a stenographer and 13 other employees including clerks, typist, driver, naib qasid, etc.—APP
