KARACHI: Projects reviewed


KARACHI, March 31: Sindh Chief Secretary Fazlur Rehman has directed officials concerned to ensure early completion of ongoing uplift projects in the province and their execution in a transparent manner.

He was reviewing a report pertaining to the functions of secretary implementation here on Friday.

The chief secretary issued a notification in this regard and asked officials to expedite strategy for ongoing and future uplift projects, ensure result-oriented management regime in the projects, take effective measures for removing impediments and keep liaison with community leaders and stakeholders.

He directed all the departments to cooperate with the secretary implementation for carrying out the projects.

Meanwhile, Sindh Secretary Implementation Nazar Mohammad Mahar in pursuance of the chief secretary’s directives asked the administrative secretaries and officials to submit report about the progress of the ongoing projects.—PPI
