Rs100,000 for Essa

LAHORE, March 21: PFF’s President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat has announced award of Rs 100,000 for striker Mohammad Essa for his spectacular goal against UAE at Karachi during 14th Asian Cup (Group-C) tie this month.

Mohammad Essa, current vice-captain of national team, is one of the hopes for Pakistan in coming AFC Challenge Cup at Dhaka and Chittagong from April 1 to 16. He clinched the awards of Pakistani player of the series, leading scorer in India-Pakistan series 2005.—APP
