Football: BMM and YAC share top spot
KARACHI, March 14: Young Ansari Club (YAC) inflicted a crushing 5-2 defeat on Azam Nagar while Baloch Mohammadan Malir (BMM) beat Hydri Baloch 1-0 on Monday in the Premier League soccer.
Both the winners moved into top of the table with 27 points each at Sixteen Star Ground, F.B. Area.
Umar Nawab gave young Ansari the lead in the second minute while Zahid Khan levelled for Azam Nagar ten minutes later.
The match was locked 1-1 at interval.
After resumption Umer found the net again in the 31st minute and Hameed Afridi netted twice in the 32nd and 34th minute.
Bakhat Zaman completed the Young Ansari tally in the 36th mintte. Kamran reduced the margin in the dying moment.
BMM recorded a thrilling 1-0 victory over Hydri. Gul Hassan found the target in the 64th minute for the winners.—APP
