Women cricket from tomorrow

KARACHI, Feb 28: The preliminary rounds of second National women cricket championship will be held at three centres of the country from Thursday. The final rounds will be played on the round robin league

Karachi, Hyderabad and Quetta are placed in pool “A” while pool “B” consist of Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Multan. Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Peshawar are drawn in pool “C”.

The preliminary rounds of the competition will be held at Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi and finals rounds in Lahore. All the matches in Karachi will be played at PCB Regional Academy Ground. Karachi will take on Hyderabad in the opening match at Academy Ground on Thursday.—APP
