KARACHI: Traffic board to solve traffic problems: CS


KARACHI, Feb 15: Sindh Chief Secretary Fazalur Rehman has expressed the hope that traffic problems of Karachi would be effectively solved by the newly- established Traffic Management Board, led by City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal.

He observed that the board, comprising experts and media representatives, would work with a commitment with Sindh government’s cooperation for achieving better results.

The Traffic Management Board for Karachi has been set up through a notification issued by Chief Secretary. It comprises the City Nazim as chairman with DIG (Traffic), EDO Transport and Communication, Tasneem Siddiqui and Sami Mustafa, experts from private sector, Chairman, Civil Engineering Department, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Habib Khan Ghouri and Mudassar Mirza, media representatives as members. DCO Karachi Fazl-ur-Rehman will act as member/secretary.—APP
