ISLAMABAD, Feb 7: Pakistan on Tuesday condemned the attack on APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq in Jammu in Occupied Kashmir over the weekend and expressed hope that his security would be ensured.
“The Government of Pakistan condemns the attack in Jammu on Feb 5, 2006 on APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq by assailants reportedly belonging to an extremist outfit,” a foreign ministry statement said.
