PSAF meets today

KARACHI, Jan 3: The management committee of the Pakistan Sailing Federation (PSAF) meets in the city on Wednesday to approve calendar of activities for 2006 besides discussing ways and means for the promotion of water sports.

To be chaired by president PSAF, Vice Admiral M. Asad Qureshi, the meeting among other things, will review the activities of last year in addition to focussing on the 2006 Qatar Asian Games.

The secretary PSAF, Capt (retd) S. V. Hasan, will brief the members about plans being chalked out for the Asiad.

Appointment of a national jury of qualified judges comprising representatives from each club was also on agenda besides ensuring club’s participation in national as well as open championships in future.
