Mach rocked by 2 blasts

QUETTA, Dec 28: Mach town was rocked on Wednesday night when two explosions occurred in different areas in a span of 10 minutes, police sources said. Assailants hurled a hand-grenade in the house of one Haji Bashir which exploded with a big bang. The windowpanes and doors of the house were smashed.

No one injured in the attack, police said.

Ten minutes later, another explosion was heard in the town.

Meanwhile, police defused explosive substance, weighing two kilograms, lying by a pylon of the transmission line near Baghbana of the Khuzdar district.

Police also seized two hand-grenades from a shop in Nushki town and arrested a suspect, Sher Mohammad.
