Two mill workers lose hands

SHEIKHUPURA, Dec 6: Two mill workers lost their hands while operating a machine on the Faisalabad Road on Tuesday. According to details reaching here, Muhammad Amin, resident of Ghullan Wattwan, and Jamil of Khayare Kalan, Nankana, were operating ‘Ropan Hand machine’ installed in a textile mills when the accident took place.

They were removed to Mayo Hospital, Lahore, where doctors described their condition as precarious.

HELD: Muridke city police have arrested a man involved in kidnap for ransom.

Adil was caught by some passersby when he was fleeing with Iqra, 6. The girl had raised an alarm.

It was learnt that accused was arrested by some people a few years ago on the identical charge but the police helped him win pardon. — Correspondent
