By Our Reporter

LAHORE, Dec 3: Punjab chief minister’s adviser on social welfare Saba Sadiq has said that rehabilitation of disabled earthquake victims was the top priority of the government. She was speaking to the participants in a rally organized by an NGO, HOPE, in connection with the International Day of Special Persons on Saturday. The participants walked from Punjab Assembly Chambers to Bagh-i-Jinnah.

The adviser said special persons required special attention of the society to enable them to lead a good life. She called upon the people to show love and kindness to special persons and adopt a positive attitude towards them.

STOVES: Governor Khalid Maqbool has said 35,000 stoves would be sent to Muzaffarabad, Bagh and Rawlakot for the quake-affected people shortly.

The governor stated this while dispatching 5,100 kerosene stoves loaded on five trucks on Saturday.
