MIRPURKHAS, Dec 3: A rally was taken out on Saturday from the chowk railway station under the aegis of Mirpurkhas Special Sports and Welfare Association to mark the World Disabled Day.

The participants of the walk included Mirpurkhas Taluka Nazim Ghulam Dastagir Khan, elected representatives, NGO officials, disabled persons and representatives of the social welfare department.

They were carrying banners and placards. Speaking on the occasion, the taluka nazim vowed to support the special persons.

He said the TMA would appoint special persons on vacant posts.

He said that a place would be provided to the welfare association in the UC-6.—BoC
