Indian minister says talks should continue

ISLAMABAD, Nov 19: Indian State Minister for Foreign Affairs E. Ahmed has said that Pakistan-India talk process must continue for the solution of Kashmir issue. “We have a clear-cut stance on the Kashmir issue and want its solution through talks to eliminate terrorism from the region,” said the Indian minister while addressing the international donor conference here at the Convention Centre on Saturday.

He said the Oct 8 quake was the worst tragedy in the history of Pakistan, adding that his country would fully cooperate for the rehabilitation of the quake victims.

Mr Ahmed said India had lifted a ban on the no-fly zone area near the line of control so that assistance could reach to quake-hit Kashmiris.—Online
