FAISALABAD, Nov 7: A man was killed and his friend injured seriously in a road accident in Tandlianwala here on Sunday night. Abdul Ghani and Nasir Mahmood were going to Tandlianwala when their car rammed into a roadside tree due to overspeeding. Both the friends sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital where Abdul Ghani died.
The condition of Nasir was stated to be critical.
NO CLUE: Police have failed to find a clue to a shopkeeper who was kidnapped allegedly by five people over a month ago.
Idrees of Abdullah Colony said his father, Yousaf, was present at his shop in the Samanabad area when Khalid Manzoor along with four accomplices came there and demanded the money his father had borrowed. Later, they took his father away along with them.
He said the police were informed, but neither his father had been recovered nor a case registered against the accused.
