Damage assessment
ISLAMABAD, Nov 3: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Thursday chaired a high-level meeting to discuss the latest reports on damage assessment. The reports were based on surveys conducted by the government, authorities and donor agencies.
ERRA Chairman Lt-Gen Mohammad Zubair presented preliminary plans for rebuilding and reconstruction of the affected areas at the meeting held at the PM house.
Intensive discussions were held on various aspects of the plans.
It was decided that further meetings would also be held on the subject.
The plans would be finalized in the next week and presented before the donors’ meeting on Nov 19.—APP
