LAHORE: Free railway journey for relatives of victims

LAHORE, Oct 8: The Pakistan Railways will attach special bogies in every train running between Karachi and Peshawar to transport free of cost the relatives of those affected by earthquake to their home town in upcountry cities.

A decision to this effect was taken on the directive of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.

A railways release issued here on Saturday said that special reservation centre had been set up for the purpose at Karachi City railway station which would work round-the-clock.

People desirous of availing the facility have been advised to contact the centre over phone No 021-9201118 for booking, the release said.
