Double gold for Ghulam
LAHORE, Oct 3: Wapda’s karatekas dominated on the first day of the National Inter-department karate championship which started at the Wapda Sports Complex on Monday.
International Ghulam Ali, who won two gold medals in the last SAF Games held at Islamabad was mainly responsible for both gold medals.
First he won a gold medal in the individual kata. Abdul Bari (Railways) and Noman Saeed (Police) bagged silver and bronze.
Ghulam Ali was also the part of the team kata in which Wapda won gold medal followed by Railways and Police, who won silver and bronze medals.
