Protest against district officer

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Aug 9: Dozens of water management department employees took out a protest rally here on Monday against the alleged rude behaviour of their district officer with them and demanded an increase in salaries.

Reports said as many as 102 sub-engineers and 34 engineers boycotted the official work and held a demonstration against what they termed rude behaviour of DO Zafar Sindho. The protesters were also demanding raise in salaries.

Later on, they met with the district coordination officer who assured them that their problems would be resolved.
